Who are we?..........GREEN PARTY OF IRAQ.

The Green Party of Iraq is a new party born on 3rd February 2003 by the efforts of a group of Iraqi individuals who are jealous over their country and love their people and who are dedicated to serve their country without any political ambitions but to serve the Iraqi citizen and their country and to guard against any one who tries to take the Iraqi people for a ride.

So after thirty long years of suffering, injustice, torture that was inflicted on all sections of our society, and after total destruction to our way of life and environment, this led all honest, educated Iraqis inside and in exile, the ones who dream of a prosperous, democratic Iraq where all Iraqis without any discrimination live a respected happy life. All this was the main reason for us to establish what we see as a small contribution to the national Iraqi movement to save our Iraq, people, life, environment.

It is a party that is dedicated to Iraq and the Iraqi people first to regain our lost pride and establish a home based on democracy, justice and freedom.

This distinguishes us from all other parties in our dedication to the Iraqi people and our respect to our ancient culture and tradition, and based on equality to all Iraqis irrespective of their religion, sect, or ethnicity.
